নব্বইয়ের আন্দোলনে আমরা যে গণতন্ত্র পেয়েছিলাম, তা ছিল শিশু। সেটার যত্ন যেভাবে নেয়া উচিৎ ছিল তার ধারে কাছেও কেউ যেতে পারে নাই। তাই গণতন্ত্র আজ বিকলাঙ্গ হয়ে পড়েছে। খুঁড়িয়ে খুঁড়িয়ে চলছে আমাদের গণতন্ত্র। তবে সময় ফুরিয়ে যায়নি। এখনো যদি আমরা সজাগ হই, যদি আমাদের মধ্যে দেশপ্রেমকে গুরুত্ব দেই, তবে এই বিকলাঙ্গ গণতন্ত্রই আবার সোজা হয়ে পথ চলতে পারবে। তবে কথা হচ্ছে, যারা এটা করতে পারবে তারাই আজ ভিন্ন পথে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। তাদের শুভ বুদ্ধির উদয় হোক এই কামনা করি।
